Sovereign Propulsion Systems (SPS) is a veteran co-owned and co-founded Adelaide-based company, established in 2022 with a mission to deliver innovative, cost-effective UAV and robotic systems. All its products are designed, engineered, and manufactured in Australia, supporting sovereign capability and local industry growth. Since inception, it has collaborated with multiple ADF programs to develop agile, effects-based solutions, leveraging its strong industry connections backed by a team of highly skilled engineer with complementary domain expertise. SPS has a strong innovative mindset supported by equally strong commercial, financial and risk-based analysis. Building Australian supply chains is a key ingredient. One of SPS leading products is ALADDIN an all-weather air-launched delivery drone) developed in partnership with the RAAF Jericho Disruptive Innovation Program. It is designed to deliver precision tactical re-supply for military, civil, and disaster-relief operations. Its brilliance is that it can be thrown from a fast-moving aircraft and deploy mid-air to delivery its package to static or moving targets, and then be recovered for reuse. It can also be launched from land or maritime vessels and features multiple guidance modes, including pre-programmed flight paths, visual guidance, or beacon tracking. This in-built design flexibility which makes it fit for a range of commercial, first responder, and military applications.
Triple Innovation was referred to SPS to support it with R&D advice, non-dilutive grant funding and to access our HNW network.
